As a licensed esthetician, I’ve been using Jane Iredale products for more than 20 years. I’ve attended the brand’s master makeup classes, completed bridal makeup workshops, and have used the line on countless wedding days. Through humid summer ceremonies, emotional happy tears, and long hours, one thing has always remained true: Jane Iredale products simply perform.
Living in Florida for the last four years has made me even pickier about makeup. Heat, humidity, and sensitive skin don’t leave much room for error. So when I tried one of the newer additions to the line, Jane Iredale’s Skintuition SPF 30 Radiance-Boosting Liquid Foundation, I had high expectations.
Fortunately, it exceeded them.
Why Jane Iredale’s Skintuition Foundation Works So Well in Summer Weather

I’ve used HydroPure Tinted Serum for years, and if you’re familiar with it, you know it requires a bit of warming and blending. It offers beautiful, lightweight coverage, but I have always paired it with Jane Iredale’s pressed powder for complete coverage.
Skintuition feels different.
The formula is already blended, applies effortlessly, and provides more coverage while still maintaining the clean, skin-like finish that Jane Iredale is known for. On days when I want to protect my skin and even out my complexion without spending a lot of time on my makeup, this has become my go-to.
And perhaps most impressive, it stays put. Even in Florida’s heat and humidity, the formula wears beautifully throughout the day.
A Great Choice for Sensitive Skin
At 50, I still deal with sensitive skin and rosacea, and I quickly react to products containing fragrance or heavy, greasy ingredients. Skintuition hasn’t caused breakouts or irritation, which is one of the reasons I’ve been reaching for it daily.
The formula features zinc oxide SPF 30 and includes microencapsulated hyaluronic acid, a superfood complex, and natural botanicals designed to support hydration and the skin barrier.
I have fair skin with blue-pink undertones and typically wear Light Beige or Natural in Jane Iredale’s pressed powder. Based on the shade chart, I selected shade 26 Light and found it to be an excellent match. It’s slightly darker than my face, which never tans, but blends beautifully into my neck and chest, giving me just enough healthy color.
My Honest Review After Several Months
This is easily one of my favorite products in years.
It provides enough coverage to even out redness while still looking natural and radiant. The finish is glowy without feeling greasy, and the mineral-based SPF 30 offers an extra layer of protection that I appreciate, living in the Sunshine State.
After more than two decades of using Jane Iredale products professionally and personally, I can honestly say this foundation has earned a permanent place in my makeup bag.
