Costco’s LED Glass Candle Set Adds an Elegant Glow Without an Open Flame
It may still feel a little early to start thinking about holiday decorating, but some of the prettiest seasonal finds tend to disappear from Costco long before the first strand of Christmas lights goes up.
And one new arrival may be worth grabbing early. Costco’s new LED Glass Candle Set combines the warm glow of candlelight with textured glass and handblown-style glass flames, creating an elegant display without the worry of an open flame.
The set was shared on September 3 by @costcobestie, who reports that it’s already stocked at 96% of Costco warehouses and selling quickly. In stores, the five-piece set is priced at $43.99, making each candle less than $9.

Costco’s LED Glass Candles Make Holiday Decorating Easier
Costco’s LED Glass Candles, Set of 5, item #1929903, includes five glass candles in graduated heights and different textured designs. They’re available in gold, red, and green, giving you the option to keep things neutral and elegant or lean into traditional Christmas colors.
The gold set is especially versatile, with a mix of ribbed, diamond, dotted, and swirled glass that gives each candle its own look while still making the five feel cohesive as a group. Arrange them together on a mantel or console table for a statement display, or separate them throughout a room to carry the same warm glow from one space to another.
Each candle uses soft white LED lighting and has a built-in 6-hours-on/18-hours-off timer, so you can switch them on once and have them automatically illuminate at the same time each day. Unlike traditional candles, there are no wicks to trim, wax to clean up, or open flames to keep an eye on.
Costco includes the 15 AA batteries needed to power all five candles, so they’re ready to use right out of the box. The candles range from 8.3 to 14.4 inches tall, giving a grouped arrangement some natural variation in height.
If you can’t find the set at your local warehouse, Costco is also offering it online for $59.99 with shipping and handling included at the time of publication. Warehouse prices can vary, but the recent in-store sighting at $43.99 makes checking locally worthwhile before ordering online.
And although the Christmas tree in Costco’s product photos certainly gives these a holiday feel, the gold version doesn’t have to wait for or come down with the rest of the decorations. The warm glass and neutral finish could easily transition from fall into winter, long after the ornaments have been packed away.
